Parks with Perks

For our last break from work last year we decided we wanted to be fully catered to. No more waiting in lines, no more driving around everywhere to get to what we want and no more daily trips from the hotel to tourist sites or to the beach. Also, we wanted to relax, we really needed to relax after such a complicated year. For my wife, the perfect place to relax is a spa. She just loves the massages, the herbal treatments, saunas, Jacuzzis, you name it. And for me, the perfect way to relax is to engage in some sort of physical activity, be it a team sport, solo sport or something challenging like hiking, rafting or rock climbing.

Looking around the internet, we decided that our best bet was to try out one of the many holiday parks within driving distance from out house. And we were not at all disappointing. We spent some amazing days and we shared activities – I got to learn how it feels to have sea weed on my face while my wife learned how to swing a nine iron in the golf course. The only trouble we have now is deciding if we want to go back next chance we get, or try a different one.
