Cottages: vacation heaven?
A lot of people are giving up staying in hotel rooms during their holidays for the safety and comfort of a holiday cottage. When you go out on holiday to a sunny country like Spain or Greece the benefits of staying in one the many holiday cottages available to rent near a beach outweigh the benefits of staying in a hotel room. Hotels have a lot of amenities that you can enjoy, let’s say for example: swimming pools, spas, bars, restaurants, etc. What people are beginning to think is that all of that is excellent when you’re spending your vacation somewhere with less access to the beach but once you’re staying near a beach, with plenty of water, restaurants and bars all over town, all those benefits of a hotel seem to be a little watered down.
If you add to that the price it’ll cost you to house your entire family in a good hotel, you’ll realize just why the average family chooses holiday cottages over hotels more and more. And there’s the added advantage that if you have smaller children you’ll surely feel safer and more comfortable if they’re in a house rather than in a hotel room, where they’re relatively stuck in one room and can eventually disturb other people around.
