Canada is the perfect country for skiing. First of all, the people are really friendly and the country itself is so clean and organized, it’s a pleasure to visit. And then come the amazing scenery and landscapes, which the locals probably take for granted, but that we, the unsuspecting tourists, simply love – and at this point we’re hooked to the country. And these amazing mountain ranges aren’t just pretty to look at, they’re the perfect spot for snow and winter sports – just ask the people who were at the Winter Olympics.
One of the greatest places to ski in the country is Whistler. If you are a spectator of winter sports events, or even just the Olympics, you’ll surely remember the name: Whistler was the Host Mountain Resort of the Olympics. But don’t let that potentially pompous title fool you: you can still find ski deals in Whistler just as easily as you can in any other resort. And in Whistler you can get a taste of what being an Olympic skier feels like. And when the day is over and you’ve got all of the skiing out of your system, you can relax and enjoy yourself in one of the most picturesque skiing resorts out there.
